Frequently asked questions
How much smaller will my PDF get?
Scanned and image-heavy PDFs often shrink by 50–90%. PDFs that are mostly text are usually already small and shrink less.
Will the text still be selectable?
Yes. Only images are resampled; text and vector graphics are preserved.
What if the result is larger than the original?
That happens with already optimised files. In that case we return your original file unchanged.
How long do you keep my files?
Uploads are deleted as soon as processing ends and results expire after one hour (24 hours on Pro).
